Students will reside at the AVA Toluca Hills Apartments, a 4.5-mile drive from the SULA Center where classes are held and administrative offices are located. The apartment complex is close to Burbank, Universal City, Studio City and Hollywood.
Four students share a two-bedroom/two-bath apartment, with two students in each bedroom. Mixed gender apartments are allowed if all prospective residents for a two-bedroom apartment request to live together.

Students opting into SULA sponsored housing are classified as on-campus residential students. Charges will be billed to the student’s bursar account. Existing financial aid, grants, scholarships, and payment plans will apply.
If a student has already secured main campus housing & meal plans, they must opt-out through the housing portal on myslice. Choose “Syracuse University Internship” as the reason.
Churchill Living is our property management company. Churchill Living provides kitchen, bath, and bedroom essentials for each apartment and they are who you contact for any questions or concerns during your stay at AVA Toluca Hills. Here is a list of the home essentials in each furnished apartment.
There are different layouts available at AVA Toluca Hills. Specific layouts cannot be requested as assignment depends on availability. You will receive your apartment assignment the week of move in.

The AVA Toluca Hills complex has two clubhouses, which contain a lounge area with Wi-Fi, comfy seating, game table, TVs and private study booths. Other amenities include:

ALL STUDENTS – regardless of housing situation – must have ARRIVED in Los Angeles by Sunday, January 5 and attend mandatory SULA orientation on Monday, January 6 at 9:30 a.m.
