It is Syracuse University’s policy to provide anyone, on request, with a printed copy of the University’s policies and procedures regarding campus security and safety, as well as crime rates and statistics for the most recent three-year period. A copy of Your Safety and Security at Syracuse University, a handbook that provides this information, is available from DPS. The University’s crime information is also posted on the U.S. Department of Education website.
SULA provides the following information as required by the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act [20 USC 1092(f)].
The Syracuse University Los Angeles Semester maintains a 60-day log of criminal incidents reported to the Police by either SULA staff, Oakwood Security or one of our students. The crime log contains the nature, date, time and general location of each crime and disposition of the complaint, if known. Reported criminal incidents older than 60 days are available upon request within two business days.
