Something I always been interested in is how a show you see on television is made. One of my dreams growing up was to be on production set in California. Now, after a month participating in the Syracuse University Los Angeles semester, I can say I have worked on a set and helped produce a television show. It was an amazing experience to assist the producers in pre production for an episode of the show “Unusual Suspects” on Investigation Discovery. One of the reasons I want to pursue a career in television is because of how fulfilling it is. After a week of hard work, you are rewarded with the ability to watch the final product. The best part about this is you then can determine how you can get better next week. I’ve reached my childhood dream of helping create a television show, but it feels like I’m just getting started.
