My Labor Day was a busy weekend full of first times around LA. On Friday I visited the Grammy Museum, which was fantastic. I was able to see the Michael Jackson exhibit along with Beyoncé’s actual Grammy dress, among other things. That same day, I went to a sushi restaurant where the most expensive item on the menu was four dollars. I guess you could say I was budgeting my money for inexpensive and delicious food. Lastly, this weekend I attended the first ever Made in America music festival in Los Angeles, where I was able to catch some of my favorite acts such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, and Chance the Rapper. All of these activities were done in simply one weekend, I can only look forward to what the rest of the semester will bring.
