Work Study

A limited number of Work-Study hours are available in Los Angeles during the semester. This opportunity is available to any current LA Semester Program participant who has received a Federal Work-Study award.

Job Description:

Support the LA Semester Program and the SULA office by performing administrative tasks and setting-up classroom space. Tasks include updating & creating excel spreadsheets, photo-copying, setting-up tables & chairs in the classroom, operating AV equipment and other special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be participating in the LA Semester Program and have a current Federal Work-Study award.  Must have knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office Suite.  Punctuality, attention to detail and a service oriented approach required. Knowledge of Excel and camera equipment a plus. Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Hours & Availability:

Typically one to two positions available per semester. Number of hours based on program needs and are typically 1 to 3 hours of work per week. Rate of pay is $10.50 per hour.
