The most memorable thing I’ve done so far with my LA experience is take a road trip from Connecticut to LA with one of my best friends. It was an amazing experience and would highly recommend it if you are deciding to come out here. Seeing the United States in all it’s beauty: camping, hiking, and whitewater rafting is something that I will remember for the rest of my life. I did not know what to expect when coming to LA, but kept my mind open. LA is not a place that I’d like to move to after college, however, I’ve met a lot of great people and have had an amazing internship experience. I am working at two music publicity companies, Big Hassle Media and SpinLab Communications, and I have the nicest bosses at both. Both have taught me the ways of the industry and have given me a lot of opportunities to attend concerts. Additionally, both have helped me in my own music publicity ventures and have offered to help me find a job in NYC. It’s important to experience different things, places, and people, and even though LA is not the place for me, I am so glad to have this as part of my college experience.
