Work Study

A limited number of work-study hours are available in Los Angeles. This opportunity is available to current SULA Semester participants who have received a federal work-study award. To apply for the position, please email SULA Semester Assistant Director, Lauren Palius, at and provide:

Job Description

Support the SULA Semester Program and the SULA office by performing administrative tasks and setting-up classroom space. Tasks include updating & creating excel spreadsheets, photo-copying, setting-up tables & chairs in the classroom, operating AV equipment and other special projects as assigned.


Must be participating in the SULA Semester and have a current federal work-study award.  Must have knowledge of PCs and Microsoft Office Suite.  Punctuality, attention to detail and a service oriented approach required. Knowledge of Excel and camera equipment a plus. Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Hours & Availability

Typically one to two positions available per semester. Number of hours based on program needs and are typically 1 to 3 hours of work per week. Rate of pay is $10.50 per hour.
